My Birth Story

Hey lovelies βœ¨πŸ’• I never really had an opportunity to share my birth story via social media. For those of you who do follow me on Facebook you may know that I suffered terribly throughout my entire pregnancy with a disease called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. This is NOT AT ALL regular morning sickness. This was 12 weeks of nonstop vomitting 30-50 times daily until the doctors were able to diagnose me appropriately and place me on therapies to control and save my baby and my own life.. The therapy that worked for me was hospitalization for two days followed by PICC line placement (an intravenous catheter line that goes into a central vein and the tip empties into the top of the heart) that gave me IV hydration in the comfort of my own home and also a 24 hour zofran dosage pump that kept me from puking for the most part! Even with these therapies I would still continue to throw up daily for almost another two months but not anywhere close to how much I was throwing up beforehand. The last trimester of my pregnancy I had my picc line removed and took oral dissolvable meds that controlled me the rest of the way through . This third trimester was the best I had felt the entire pregnancy and I actually began to take pictures, do my makeup and feel beautiful again. So anyway with that being said as a little background, April 19th,2016 (which doubled as my 23rd birthday) 😜 my baby boy Mar’Cannon Lynn Hall was born 7lbs 8oz, 19.5 inches long at 7:12 pm. I had absolutely no signs of labor until 5:30 that evening. In fact my makeup and hair was done as we were heading to celebrate my birthday with some friends, but babyHALL decided otherwise .. I had my husband rush me to the hospital and we made it there by 5:38. Mind you I had already had a doctor’s appointment that day and secretly scheduled an induction for April 20th.. (I was 40 weeks exactly April 19th) when I arrived at the hospital I was triaged and the nurse checked me to say I was 6 centimeters dilated with a bulging bag of water 😩😳 I would have never known.. I was in a lot of pain at this point but the nurse said I believe we can break your waters and have a baby.. WAIT WHAT? NO PAIN MEDS? She explained that at this point it was too late and I really didn’t need any because everything was going to go so fast ! I was freaking out a bit but the doctor came in, checked me , broke my water and we had a baby 20 minutes later at 7:12pm ! What an incredibly fast labor.. I believe I deserved this after the entire hell of my pregnancy.. Anyways my husband and I are completely in love.. Our little man is exactly 1 month old as of yesterday and we could not be anymore blessed than we have been this year! He is our third blessing and our daughter and son are very excited for him to be here ! Thanks for taking the time to read my birth story , feel free to comment yours below ❀️❀️❀️
This was in triage in the relaxation of the contractions and during the contractions 😝
